Who's Blooming as the seasons progress? Interested in learning about your floral neighbors, basic botany, and ways to help local birds and wildlife?
In-Person: Join me at our property on Lookout Mountain west of Golden, Colorado to explore common and not-so-common wildflowers, plants, and trees of the Front Range. These 3 hour classes are rich with information, yet is a full-body experience with your senses and nature connection. We may even make some plant medicine! Bring your mind, heart, journal, hat, and binoculars (for impromptu bird and wildlife viewing - nothing occurs in isolation). On-line: These webinars provide an introduction to the plants that will be popping up and popping out in spring! In order to learn local flora, you need to develop search images in your mind for the patterns of the plants. Awake from winter slumbers, celebrate green life, and start recognizing the ecological, edible, medicinal and non-native plants surrounding your community with the on-line, lunch-time webinars! You will learn:
Logistics: These classes can be taken separately or collectively. You will be sent an email confirmation of your registration. We request you complete your suggested donation payment (whatever amount is workable for you) through PayPal or Venmo after you register, but it is ultimately due the day of program.
